Common questions

How do I connect a WordPress site?

Add a site in your dashboard to get a unique API key, then install the WP Assist plugin on your WordPress site and paste the key in Settings → WP Assist. The site will connect within seconds.

Which SEO plugins do you support?

We support Yoast SEO and Rank Math. WP Assist auto-detects which is active on each site and reads and writes SEO data in the correct format for that plugin.

Do you support ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)?

Yes. WP Assist displays all ACF field groups and lets you edit text, textarea, WYSIWYG, select, radio, date, URL, email, number, and colour picker fields.

Can I give my team access?

The Pro plan covers one WordPress website per account, so each person needs their own WP Assist account. If you need shared access for a team, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can clear your data yourself at any time — go to Settings → Reset account data to delete all your sites, chat messages, audit logs, and preferences. If you also want your login account removed, email hello@wpassist.app and we'll handle it within 30 days.

Does the plugin slow down my website?

No. The plugin only runs when a request comes in from WP Assist — it adds no overhead to your site's front-end performance.
