Editing WordPress page content with WP Assist

WP Assist can update any text content on your WordPress pages and posts through a simple chat conversation. Whether you want to rewrite a headline, update a paragraph, or add a new section to an existing page, just describe what you want and WP Assist makes the change directly in WordPress.

Example edit requests

  • "Update the headline on my homepage to 'Award-winning web design in Bristol'."
  • "Rewrite the introduction on my about page to be more conversational and friendly."
  • "Add a paragraph about our free consultation offer to the bottom of my services page."
  • "Change the call to action on my contact page to 'Book a free call'."
  • "Rewrite the services section on my homepage in a more professional tone, keeping it under 150 words."

What WP Assist can edit

WP Assist can read and update:

  • Standard WordPress page and post content (block editor and classic editor)
  • ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) text, textarea, and WYSIWYG fields
  • Page titles and post titles

Changes are logged: Every edit WP Assist makes is recorded in the activity log, so you can always see what was changed, when, and by whom. You can review changes before and after.

Before WP Assist makes a change

For significant edits, WP Assist will confirm what it's about to do before proceeding. This gives you a chance to review the proposed change and either approve it or refine your request.
